This work presents de translation of the Louis Aragon’s poem "J’arrive où je suis
étranger" into portuguese. Louis Aragon is a french poet, novelist and essayist, he was born in 1897,
in Neuilly-sur-Seine, and he died in 1982, in Paris. The writer was also a founding member of the
surrealist movement. Its first great theme is patriotism and the second is love, specially his love for
his wife, Elsa Triolet
