CURATORSHIP
Keywords:
Artes plásticas, Museu, Exposição, Curadoria, Modigliani.Abstract
Every art exhibition influences the public and leads to a better or worse reception of an artist. The exhibitions contribute to the discussion about the artist’s work, asking relevant questions and proposing answers. A successful exhibition is able to enrich the research by making important contributions to the discourse about the artist in case it develops a concept that is displayed throughout the whole structure of the exhibition. The concept presents an idea that is accomplished through the meaningful presentation of the art works leading to a satisfactory conclusion. An exhibition that is not well prepared can, on the other hand, avert the public and the critic, even though the art works are of good quality. That’s why the art curatorship has to be well pondered and executed in the awareness of its ability to negatively or positively affect the reception of one or more artists.Downloads
