This article reflects on the ethics formation of psychologist. In the course of formation are produced changes, made through the plot of the ethical dimension and the development of skills and competencies. Ethics guides our actions and enforcement of professional practices. This dimension is provided by the humanities, conceived by the technique taught, procedures and methods. By the way we experience the life, invent our actions and interpret the world, we build our ethical dimension. Formation, not reduced to technical and theoretical psychologist, can produce a more engaged and responsive psychologist to the lifestyles of their time. The formation that open spaces for ethics and the critique can produce a psychologist attentive to the social context and able to understand the historical and social implications. This ability to contextualize, to understand the influences and circumstances that facilitated the occurrence of a particular phenomenon, is social, whether individual, entitles the psychologist to recognize and combat certain reductionism and determinism present in the social and psychological theories. Also to recognize the conditions that caused a certain kind of knowledge, technique or procedure has been legitimated and goals that they held.
