CROSSING: THE DISCOVERY OF YOURSELF
Keywords:
travessia, ambigüidade, alteridade.Abstract
The ambiguity is a recurrent theme in works of Latin American writers. In Guimarães Rosa, the theme is evident in the tale Luas-de-Mel, one of these epiphanies in Primeiras Estórias. In this tale, Rose can talk about issues and ideas that are regarded as opposites: love and war, fights / marriage, gangsters / femininity. The characters are constructed and are identified by the opposition, or just settle with the presence of annoyance, they are crossing, the third-margin.
