DEATH CONCEPTS IN BARQUINHA: AN AMAZON RELIGION AS SEEN BY INVOLVEMENT

La mort est un des phénomènes qui a plus suscité l’accroissement et le fortifiement del’imaginaire humain. En général, l’idée de la mort nous renvoye aux sentiments de perte, de vide,
de solitude qui déclenchent des attitudes de peur et de pas acceptation. Mais, comme ne pas
accepter quelque chose imminente ? La concience de la mort comme quelque chose inévitable
peut changer le sens lui-même de la vie. Ainsi, une des principaux fonctions de l’ imagination
symbolique est en élaborer une autre dynamique, en euphémisant et en rélaborant denouvelles
conceptions pour la mort et pour l’exister, comme dans une réaction qui rétablit l’équilibre vital.
Avec la fonction de créer de nouvelles versions pour la mort de différentes sociétés, cultures ou
de différents groupes reordonnent leurs répertoires symboliques. Dans ce travail nous allons
vérifier comme la mort a été imaginée, interprétée et vécue pour les membres de la Barquinha,
une des églises de Rio Branco (AC) où l’on utilise la “Ayahauasca” dans les rituels religieux en
permettant à leurs membres de rétablir la connexion avec leur intérieur et l’enveloppement avec
l’essence primordial de la nature.
