Keywords:
Educação. Mudanças. Metas. Avaliação. Políticas- públicas.Abstract
The text proposes a reflection about education in brazil, its frequent changes andtempts to utilize models which are, many times, discarded by other countries. It presents
nowadays rates of learning and future expectation as an aim to achieve an education of
international quality, even without a solid concern with the population identity and their wishes
and hopes. It exposes some aspects that generates dissatisfaction and are conflicting to the initial
formation of professionals who interfere directly on the current state of brazilian education, in
the classroom practice as well as the displeasure of public policies proposed with the intention of
improvement. This text discusses the value of the assessment that is usually performed without
the proper focus on the whole and it also discusses the delay that the government entities have
taken to do it, in order to perform in an expanded way of analysis and global vision with the aim
of intervention and focus on the problems solution. With a critical but realistic look, this study
believes in a well elaborated and implemented change, being careful during this process to its
actual intention and making the conclusion suitable to what it has been proposed, that is,
breaking paradigms in search of a wide perform without losing quality.
