ADMINISTERED SOCIETY, MODERN INDIVIDUAL AND EDUCATION: AN ANALISIS FROM ZYGMUNT BAUMAN

O objetivo deste trabalho é debater o nascimento do indivíduo moderno e o contexto da chamada “sociedade administrada” a partir dos estudos realizados pelo sociólogo polonês Zygmunt Bauman. A partir desses dois pontos, discute-se a relação com a instituição escolar, enquanto um dos dispositivos que coloca em funcionamento a administração da vida. Por fim, discorre-se sobre a problemática da liberdade, concebendo-a a partir de um discurso contraditório que, ao mesmo tempo em que toma o indivíduo como ser livre de determinações, o insere em novas formas de controle, como por exemplo, práticas presentes na sociedade de consumo.
