NEOLIBERALISM AND CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

The paper aims to understand the children's education under the imperatives of neoliberalism , which seeks to impose its vision of education as a commodity offered to society. Childhood is the stage in which the individual develops more skills and competencies , with an early childhood education is extremely important for the integral formation of the human being , this should be seen as essential to society . But with the characteristics of neoliberalism , with minimal state intervention , education also felt the setbacks of neoliberalism . In the educational field one of the strategies of neoliberalism focuses on transferring the sphere of education policy in the sphere of economy , thus questioning his character of law and reducing it to its condition of property , from the education of a service condition for of merchandise. It is perceived this way minimizing the state and this issue involves thinking which means a simple reduction of state activity within the social welfare or a redefinition of its role .
