"Interactive Break" project: a leisure experience at Unioeste

Abstract

The "Interactive Break" project was developed as a pedagogical and extension activity in the Physical Education program at UNIOESTE, aiming to train students to plan and implement leisure activities and democratize the university space as a site for interaction and cultural development. The methodology included initial diagnostics, collaborative planning, team formation, playful activities, and continuous evaluation. Approximately 70 people participated in each program, including staff, professors, and students. Results indicated broad acceptance of the proposals and team engagement, with some challenges related to the project's novelty and limited break times. It was concluded that the project is relevant as a pedagogical practice and a stimulus for leisure experiences, with potential for expansion and consolidation in future years.
