Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the perception of elementary school students about the physical education classes taught by students in a position to stage, particularly in relation to the perception of student motivation and participation in class, the content taught, the strategies used and the structure classes. This research is characterized as adescriptive research with quantitative data approach. The sample consisted of 86 students from 5th to 8th grades in a school hall. Data collection was used questionnaire adapted from Darido (2004), and testing performed by the frequency and percentage of collected data. The results revealed that most students realize participatory and considers the motivating physical education classes taught by students in a state of probation. Such evidence high lights that although most students feel motivated to participate in class, there is, however, a lack of diversification both in content and taught the existence of lectures by university students in a state of probation.
