Scientific internationalization in the Executive Secretariat:
analysis of researchers linked to ABPSEC

The topic of internationalization has been the focus of initiatives at many Higher Education Institutions, as it contributes to improving the quality of education and research. It is important to understand how researchers are engaged in this field. This study aims to present the academic-scientific internationalization profiles of the members of the Brazilian Association for Research in Executive Secretariat (ABPSEC). This research is relevant as it highlights the actions of these researchers in the international scientific context. It is a quali-quantitative study, carried out through a survey of the scientific activities of ABPSEC members registered on the Lattes Platform throughout their academic careers up to June 2023. The following aspects were considered: academic background, bibliographic production, thesis supervision, participation in events, examination boards, research projects, and editorial committees. The main results indicate that the field of Executive Secretariat in Brazil, through its associated researchers, has made efforts to expand its scientific activities internationally, with emphasis on two aspects: publication of papers and participation in events. These international engagements, even at early stages, are considered positive for the field, where researchers aim to achieve greater academic-scientific consolidation.
