This article is a mythocritical study of the song's video clip "Canção Infantil" by Cesar MC. feat Crystal. The theoretical substantiation is the Anthropology of the Imaginary by Gilbert Durand (2002) in his study about myths. According to Durand (2002), the myth is a archetypal narrative constructed by symbols and archetypes that subdue all the cultural human productions. This way, to do a study about the myth, Durand (1996) created a mythodology, a method of research and enumeration of the mythmas of a work or a time to discover its directive myth. In this context, the current paper takes on the mythodology in its mythocritic part, in another words, a study of a myth about a specific work, in this case, the multimodal text video clip "Canção Infantil". The constitutive intertextuality of the lyrics has a great number of references to fairy tales and children songs, that associated to audio-visual, configures a myth of modern heroism, which says the word is the weapon and the redemption is the love.
