This article presents a brief study, from library research, taking as a theoretical framework of Social Representation Theory by Moscovici, which becomes apparent through the interactive and communicative processes and are characterized by cognitive, symbolic, imagined that each subject constructs and reconstructs his experiences in the networking groups. Given these subjective aspects that constitute the field of social representations, this article was developed with a view to the commingling of distance education in the context of building knowledge from the social meaning of both representation and from the very distance that occurs in interactivity of Virtual Environments for Learning (AVA) and the teacher-student relationship.
