AGING, RETIREMENT & SOCIAL SECURITY: NECESSARY REFLECTIONS

This study aimed to develop a theoretical reflexive analysis on aging, retirement and social security. Realizinga textual review of the subject, it was found that the number of elderly has increased in Brazilian reality and aging causes meant changes in people's lives and associes physical, mental and social. Retirement is a benefit of individuals and has four rules to be able: age, contribution time, type of work or disability. Social Security has been changing with the passage of time and there is a forecast of future adjustments and incentives for postponing retirement according to life expectancy. So,will conclude that aging triad, retirement and social security are issues that should be discussed by all, trying to seek alternatives to help the citizens have a better quality of life, and develop an effective social security system and self-sustaining.
