Neste artigo se pretende discutir a noção de infocracia apresentada pelo filósofo austro-coreano Byung-Chul Han em sua obra homônima. Nesta noção encontram-se abarcados muitos dos temas abordados pelo filósofo em outras obras de sua autoria. A Sociedade da Transparência, o controle psicopolítico, a digitalização e a crise da democracia são temas que ressurgem associados ao fenômeno do aprisionamento digital nas redes. Fenômeno em que se debatem entre si a informação produzida pela dinâmica da transparência e o holismo do Big Data. O objetivo deste artigo é, portanto, partindo dessas noções, refletir sobre a relação entre o indivíduo das redes e a sua dimensão discursiva em relação à informação e a percepção da verdade.
