Abstract

The paper problematizes representations about the sport of volunteers Program Open School of Novo Hamburgo. Makes reports regarding the methodological aspects and then reflects on two central themes of the importance of sports to the program and to society. Arise consensus about the hegemony of the sport in the program but points to different representations of the beneficial aspects of the sport.
