Abstract

Brazilian high school syllabus reforms in 1990s are the research object of this presented study. Following the  materialism historical dialectic aspects, this work  intend to show  how syllabus changes were articulated with Brazilian economical development, at the same time it was articulated to transformation and contradition in the productive sector in a mundial standard. From the 90 decade, we watched educational politics introduced that are organized in relation to the economy reorganization in parallel the “globalization” and neoliberal pattern. In front of this situation, the objective of the article is to organize the history of the socioeconomical politic context where it was produced the Brazilian high school syllabus reforms in 1990s. The purpose is to understand the documents that suport the oficial high school syllabus, trying to answer which is the social context that this teaching develops in the society. This article was developed from bibliographic and documental research.
