Abstract

The State University of West Paraná/Brazil — Unioeste — offered to the academic community of Cascavel a talk with the rector of the Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela: Luis Damian Bustillos. Lawyer, graduated in Paris sociologist specializing in the history of European labor movement, master in political sociology and professor of methodology at the same university he leads. Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela is currently through a period of decentralization, in over 1800 cities, based on nine national centers, and providing education to more than 270 000 students. On the agenda of the talk he gave in the city, The 21st Century Socialism. In the interview, Bustillos tells a little of the transformation of Venezuela and the controversial issues that surround the central government of that country.
