Abstract

Paraná government has adopted a policy to development potential clusters after 2003 to reach a better income distribution in the region. The aim of this article was identify the public policy action from Paraná government to improve this potential clusters and its respective impacts in the lime and limestone clusters from Curitiba metropolitan region between 2004 and 2008. The method was documents analysis about this subject and quantitative analysis on employment indicators. We concluded the governance cluster and employment was development, but the results were limited by national and international markets dynamic.
