This article analyzes training initiatives on school violence within Teacher Training Centers of Education Departments, aiming to understand how this theme is addressed in continuing education policies. Grounded in theoretical frameworks that conceive violence as a complex social phenomenon, the study draws on contributions from Charlot, Debarbieux, and Galtung to explore its relational, institutional, and structural dimensions. This qualitative and exploratory-descriptive research is based on the articulation of two data sources: a national survey conducted by the Ministry of Education and a specific questionnaire applied to Training Centers. The results indicate that school violence is predominantly addressed in a transversal manner, associated with coexistence and conflict management, revealing a tendency to prioritize immediate relational dimensions. Conversely, thematic silences are identified regarding structural aspects such as racism, gender-based violence, institutional violence, and teacher suffering. Furthermore, institutional limitations are observed, particularly in the fragmentation of training actions and difficulties in their practical implementation. The study concludes that continuing education policies operate through selective processes that produce both visibility and invisibility, highlighting the need for more integrated and critical approaches to addressing school violence.
