A relação eu-outro na constituição do advogado-professor em professor-advogado

Abstract

Traditionally, in universities, it is common for professionals with a bachelor's degree without didactic-pedagogical training to occupy the position of teacher in undergraduate courses, and this scenario is quite common in law courses. For this reason, this article, which is the result of doctoral research, aims to understand how the relationship between self and other contributes to the constitution of the lawyer-teacher into a teacher-lawyer. Based on the enunciative-discursive perspective and the considerations of the (auto)biographical method, we carried out narrative interviews with four teachers on the law course at a private institution in the interior of São Paulo. The interviews were transcribed and analyzed using the procedures of dialogical discourse analysis. Our analysis shows that these teachers are constituted in their relationship with others, based on the situations they experience in the process of verbal interlocution, whether with former teachers, students, colleagues or others. It also points to the need for universities to take a closer look at teacher training, since most of the time the training process for higher education teachers is seen as solitary and individual.
