Abstract

This research is the understanding of education compared by the conditions of the theory of the imaginary and theoretical studying and working with formative / self-training through the stories of life and training processes. From the perspective of Anthropology of the Imaginary, from the interpretation of Peres (2011), teachers self-train from the symbolic expression of lived experience regarding your training path. In this sense, the aim is to investigate the symbolic value that arises in the trainees regarding their choices as pedagogical competence when teaching. The methodological contribution of socio-phenomenological qualitative character is linked to Anthropology of the Imaginary (Durand, 1998). The research was conducted with six academics in the stage of conducting the Elementary and Secondary Education, in two undergraduate courses: Pedagogy, UFPEL / Pelotas and Mathematics, UNIPAMPA / Bage in 2013 to collect data was used the technique of autoscopy as a way of narrating itself. The symbolic cores perceived the narratives were grouped by affinities in three mythemes (DURAND, 1998): Fighting (Perception of the initiatory moment in teaching) - Self (re) cognition (perception about their own attitude in the classroom) and transmute (Self-training to the narratives / autoscopy).
