Abstract

This research proposes reading paths from the application of two semantic operations (semiotic square and actantial system) associated with problem-based learning. For this purpose, forms and didactic sequences were created, based in the pedagogical goals identified in order to achieve more elaborate levels of cognitive development - especially regarding the figurativization. The set of propositions of this research finds support in the work with narratives, and provides teachers with strategies that mobilize the autonomy and authorship of Visual Communication students.
