Abstract

The relationship between literature and reality involves two research areas: art and science. About art, perquisition in literary texts indicate nearby and disruptions from the world of concrete. The research on the relationship between literature and society is inexhaustible and cause permanent debate. This study test sample texts of the writer Osman Lins, for which he produced both literary work as newspaper articles; these call here intervention texts. The purpose of the research presented here is whether, although different in form and content, that common elements can be pointed in different writings of Osman Lins? Therefore, the aim is to show elements that underlie the osmanianos written, even though they varied. For this analysis it took some texts in which no text symbiosis, such as, for example, the article "a Brazilian denominations today"; written as a newspaper article, but with the very elements of literary creation. The survey results point to stay central ideas that permeate the works of Osman Lins, his own conception of the world and its role as a writer. Common elements present in different texts his are: engagement as an active writer who aims to intervene in its own way and with his art, in fact; the view taken of respect for the direct relation establishing between the writing and peers to whom it is addressed; The critical bias of social reality. And above all, loyalty to yourself and to your work. It concludes that even though written texts of different hues and purposes, remains the social ethical conception writer, design that shows including the copyright of his literary work voice.
