Abstract

The article analyzes some aspects of the critique of instrumental reason and problematize it, therefore, in their formative developments from the aesthetic expression of Theodor W. Adorno. What does that mean? It means allowing the opening of ability and aesthetic sensibility to understand the challenges identified by the sense of expression in contemporary cultural training. It is here in the first place, to point out how Adorno in his Aesthetic Theory, conceives the dialectic of art works in the expressive potential of rationality. That is, the relationship between art and philosophy not only sets an asymmetrical relationship with each other, but in their ways of expressing your true both the work content are still in the concept. Secondly, it is intended to indicate the notion of aesthetic expression as a necessary condition for the opening of rationality (concept), and indicate some formative traces in contemporary society to a critical education.
