Abstract

The reduction of educational inequalities through the increase of school hours is advocated by government programs in different spheres, allowing schools to choose activities that contemplate the educational demands of their students. In this sense, it was tried to analyze how the extracurricular activities, that contemplate the education of environmental education, are structured in the city of Cascavel-Paraná, Brazil. For that, a documentary analysis of the proposals of the state schools that are included in the Mais Educação (More Education - Federal) program and / or in the Atividades de complementação Curricular em Contraturno (Curricular Complementation of Extracurricular Activities) program (State / Paraná) was carried out. The analysis has investigated the types of contents contemplated and has evidenced that the analyzed proposals have few conceptual contents and lack of consistency between them and the attitudinal and procedural contents. It was also possible to perceive in the analyzed documents the emphasis on Critical, anthropocentric and sustainable Environmental Education.
