Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the characteristics of the Capitalist State, considering the forms of organization that it has assumed in the historical scenario, from the eighteenth century, as well as its relation with social policies. We use studies that analyze the Capitalist State and Social Policies. It is evident that social policies are the result of the conflicts of social forces, where class struggle and the relation of domination of one class over another must be mediated by the State. In this way, the guarantee of a minimum is necessary, as it allows the worker to remain active in the productive process, through the sale of his work force. It should be noted that the study is part of the Master's thesis developed in the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Education Master's Degree / PPGE, at UNIOESTE / Cascavel, whose objective consisted in analyzing the pedagogical principles referring to the student training contained in the legislation to High School and vocational secondary technical education, after the LDB 9394/96.
