Abstract

This article is part of the studies of the Research Group: Digital Education - UNISINOS/CNPQ, and it discusses teacher education and the construction of virtual reality. This study was the result of Complementary Activities: Learning in Virtual Reality and Pedagogical Practice in Virtual Reality. The aim of the activities
was to understand the learning process, as well as the identification of the potentialities of this technology in education. The methodology of teaching practice used was the Learning Projects, which were based on problems. This methodology allowed the survey of the data through records made in the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and in Virtual Reality. The data obtained was related to interactionist/systemic/constructivist of theoretical references. This educational process added the technology of Virtual Realities to Virtual Learning Communities
(VLC) on AVA. It made evident the importance of the experience of the Teacher in the construction of Virtual Reality and it also allowed for self-reflection on the teaching and learning processes. The cohabiting experience unleashed the construction of the Teacher’s autonomy so that he/she was identified as the
author of his/her construction of Virtual Reality and as questioner of the educational subjects in the VLC.
