Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse the bibliographic output of the postgraduate Program in Science of the Human Movement of the Centre for Physical Education and Sports of the Federal University of Santa Maria on the topic of teacher education and the oral narrative of teacher education, personal and professional development of teachers between 1980 and 2006. This attempt highlights the unique relationship with himself/herself and with peers and professional institutions, in the development of new contexts and new teaching projects in different educational practices.
