Abstract

The Information and Communication Technology can transform the ways of teaching work, in order to relate the human development and educational e communicational issues. The study aims to identify the importance of knowledge and use of Information and Communication Technology for public school teachers. For this purpose, a questionnaire was administered to teachers in public schools. The data were statistically analyzed and put into discussion. The results point to the teacher's knowledge on the subject, it became clear, however, the need for more incentive to use this instrument in the school context.
