Abstract

This article analises some problems in the process of whole education of the child, in the context of our societes. The text concern tho problem of values and the concepts of childhood and human development. The text goals to show that childhood is at the same time instable and complet, which a oun meaning. The theoretical suppport of this discution is the emancipatory models of education, specially some ideas of John Dewey, auhtor that has inflencied Paulo Freire.   Key-words: whole education; childhood; emancipatory education.
