Resumen

ABSTRACT:

The relationship between youth and violence covers a number of rather unreasonable diagnoses about the meaning this relationship establishes at the moment of understanding contemporary juvenile sociabilities. To this it should be added the concern arising from the school environment as unfolding issues that try to give unquestionable evaluative centrality to pedagogical and educational action. Both violence and school should be redefined in the light of a juvenile reality that demands more practical sense and greater understanding. The present text aims to describe the juvenile universe crossed by different dynamics of contemporary violence, as well as to criticize what the school represents as a space that seems not to abandon the "paradigm of confinement" as inherent in its function.
