Abstract

Brazilian agribusiness, a prominent sector in the national economy, thrives due to the competence of rural producers and agribusiness, the availability of arable land, and the adoption of efficient productive technologies. This article aims to highlight the perceptions of these key players regarding the challenges and expectations for the future of the sector. The research, applied, qualitative, and exploratory in nature, employs a case study approach and the word cloud tool. The analysis is based on the collective positions of participants in the Norte Show, Sinop/MT. Identified challenges include input scarcity, environmental restrictions, logistics, political issues, and international competition. Expectations focus on tariff reduction, technological advancement, responsible production, efficient production management, conscious use of natural resources, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, increased production and exports, and improvements in logistics. It is crucial for participants to be aware and prepared for future challenges and expectations in the Brazilian agribusiness scenario.
