Abstract

This article had as an objective the identification of the profile of teachers that hold management posts in the public schools in the municipalities of Salvador and Feira de Santana, specially the familiar, cultural and economic aspects. So that was considered the historic and political dimensions involved in this referred process. Through this research, it was possible to detect the similarities and differences among profiles, analyzing the impact of the empowerment in the life of these school managers.
