Abstract

This article intends to analyze the presence and the use of digital technologies specifically between students of Basic Education, whereas such devices while possibility of features present and indispensable for the thematic approach linked to the prospects of learning. On the basis of the theoretical assumptions of the studies about technology education, philosophy, and of education, we concentrated, with this study, analyze the main approaches about concepts such as information and communications technology, and new digital technologies. In that sense, we will discuss the prospects on the development of the teaching-learning process in the basic school from the use of such technologies relating it to the indicators of educational development. We understand that in modernity, the fields of knowledge are characterised by the enlargement of its conceptual borders, and, therefore, will build on the theoretical instruments worked Demo (2009), Bottentuit e Coutinho (2008), Morin (2007) and in the philosophical, Rousseau (2009).
