Abstract

This article has the general objective of discussing the abnormality from the subjectivity of the “abnormal” set out by Michel Foucault: the monster, the onanist and incorrigible. We attempted to provide a vision of social abnormality, legal and technical that develops the seventeenth century to the early nineteenth century and how to manifest the effects of these identities in the fields of medical and judicial institution. What we try to emphasize is the characterization of these individuals classified as unassimilable socially and questioning the dual qualification of social medicine and legal planning system.
